BRIDGES
Bridges Atlas
A developing research database for mapping the ecosystem of cross-border collaboration — not yet publicly searchable.
What Bridges Atlas is
Bridges Atlas is an internal research database being developed alongside the Bridges platform. It maps organizations, institutions, and initiatives whose work relates to collaboration across divided communities, borders, and histories.
Atlas is separate from the public Bridges platform. It supports careful research, partner discovery, and understanding of the field — not public listings or outreach campaigns.
What Atlas documents
The database is being built to include, among others:
- Organizations working on peace and cross-community relations
- Cultural centers and museums
- Archives and memory institutions
- Artist collectives and cultural workers
- Peace initiatives and bridge-building projects
- Diaspora organizations
- Cultural preservation and continuity groups
- Community projects relevant to cross-border work
Current status
Bridges Atlas is in active development. It is not yet a public directory. Entries are researched, reviewed, and verified before any future use in partner discovery or platform features.
The Atlas will inform how Bridges understands divided communities, existing projects, and possible connections — always with respect for privacy, safety, and the sensitivity of cross-border work.
Organizations whose work may belong in Atlas can express interest through contact. Learn more about the broader pilot network.
